Last night I was texting a friend about how I pretty much worship all things Japanese. It’s an extreme statement as I’m not a fanboy or anything, but there’s something about Japanese design, creativity, and execution that pulls me in. Take this “awesome” sticker Lilian attached. It’s a 3D sticker in that it’s not flat. It’s probably about a quarter of an inch or 6 mm thick, semi-filled with some clear liquid with glitter, a pink heart, some beads, and a game controller or heart monitor floating around. WTF, Right? Well, it doesn’t matter it’s simply awesome. Can’t wait to go back to Shibuya Crossing with you, Lilian – and thanks! I got your postcard.
