Timing is Everything

They say, “Timing is everything,” and my friend, Steve is probably saying, “about fucking time you blogged about my postcard!” This was sent in 2013 and it was… timely. Steve writes, “… woke up to Pope Benedict stepping down. Good timing, no?” Yes? Well, the timing could not be more perfect for this holiday season and the release of the Netflix movie, The Two Popes early November of 2019. It’s been heavily promoted on my Netflix rotation over the holiday break. It stars Anthony Hopkins as Pope Benedict XVI and Jonathan Pryce as Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio who would later be Pope Francis. Will I watch it? Who knows… Only time will tell. Either way – thanks, Steve. I got your postcard.
